Too bad that all state warranty is useless.

Read reddit.

The only warranties that matter anymore
Best buy
Or
G SERIES as LG has 5 year factory warranty with those

The rest are completely useless, why do you think every insurance company now offers them and brags about offering them in quarterly earnings. They get to decide if your claim is valid.

Check reddit and other review sites, all state, the cps one....allll junk
All state by itself maybe useless, but Costco makes them toe the line. I had a JVC tv replaced after 5 years during a 7 year warranty period (from Costco) by sending the pictures of the screen and getting a comparable new TCL tv within 10 days. That's the only reason I will ever buy oled tv from Costco.

G series has 5 year panel warranty. Did you check on that?
I dont think it has anything to do with the panel.

Not more burnin misinformation. Ugh. Burnin is a thing from the past. It is a non issue
Since I went looking for C3s at Walmart the last time that YMMV instore only $1099 came up about a month ago, I can say I saw really bad burn in on their display, which would have been the one they possibly could have sold. For some reason they didn't connect some feed to the TV (or feed correctly) so every 20 or so minutes, it sat with a message to "Please connect the so and so"..... and that Bi@tch was burned in. For whatever it's worth. It would still run through some LG content (maybe demo content was cached locally to the TV?) but when it did, that burned in message was right up there and obvious.

If they completely shut down the power to the tvs at night, the tvs can't do their compensation cycle for what its worth and make up for the burn in.

I know the feeling. Been eyeballing the C3's for a while now. Also interested in a Sony Bravia. I might enjoy the Google OS a bit better. But who knows.

Don't waste money on the OS. You'll finally end up with a firestick or apple tv.

Great deal, bought one with a delivery in 1 week with an eye out on Costco - honestly think Costco will be the best vendor given the 5 year warranty vs Amazon's 1 year. If you've ever experienced a defective 2 year old tv like me, the extra security is worth it. Costco's prices are not dropping yet but if you've been monitoring their OLED C3 previously said prices currently valid until 3/10 and just 2 days ago now it says valid until 3/3, so for what it's worth. We know Costco will drop their prices in preparation of c4 release, just a matter of time.

I noticed the same thing, but now the current Costco price expiry is back to 3/10. I almost pulled the trigger on the Amazon coupon last night, but for the warranty reason you mentioned, I'm just gonna hold out for Costco.

Thanks for the response.

I have LG & Sony (WOLED), Samsung (QD-OLED), I might just skip (MLA) and double up with (QD-OLED).

Too bad we don't get Panasonic & Philips in the US.

Quote from sumthin_gud :
All LGs are Woled

Samsung's are Qd oled

LGs higher end G series has MLA on their Woled

LGs are generally considered more color accurate, but Samsung has more color volume. it seems people prefer Samsung's vibrancy but LG gets closer to a reference image. They also handle darks better. But QD OLEDs are truly remarkable, theyre still fine tuning it but it's clear they're coming for everything LG got.

Hope this helps

Heck not just that , even 3 is >2.
Wish some brands like Canon and Marantz get that logic 😆

This was the deal I was waiting for, but I hesitated due to my wife's (understandable) hesitation (since we've been de-emphasizing time on screen).
Anyway, I went to pull the trigger today, but I'm too late. 🤦🏽

Looks like the coupon is back, but the initial price is higher than the original deal.

Wish i can pass this deal to someone who can use it...I placed the order but i was able to beat the deal and get a cheaper one at my local bb store....don't want to disclose the details because it's very YMMV...deal. I really hate to cancel the order, wish i could give it to someone local for the price i paid. i don't know if amazon lets me change the shipping to someone else and would work out for them?
