Would totally buy with a better power supply & 32 gig ram. It seems every single setup I've seen for the past 4-5 month has something misconfigured/flaw.

Try to config a PC that you build yourself with these exact specs and see what it costs. I think you'll be surprised. This price is going to be hard to beat so the fact it has 16GB RAM shouldn't be a killer for it.

Of course as soon as I finish a build that's giving me BSOD, the perfect pre build comes up.

That blows and is one thing that keeps me from building my own. If something goes wrong, the troubleshooting would be a nuisance. Plus, no easy way to return it.

yeah good point. Is the 500 enough to power the system as is under full load?
Yes. 4070 GPU peak is 200W and 7700 CPU peak is 90W, for ~300W peak. I'd estimate 400W at the max possible load (all out on CPU, GPU, NVMe, 100% fan speed, USB peripherals, etc).

I've had Lenovo systems in the past. Good luck with the warranty if something happens. My experience with warranty was not great. Their systems do work though and are better than some brands. But for this price, I just bought parts to build a new system and the total cost was about the same as this system. The only difference is I got to choose better parts. So for the money, you can build something better.
Have a pcpartpicker link? I tried to price one with these specs and couldn't do it let alone better parts

I don't have a pcpartpicker link. I just kept looking for the best deals on parts. Finding sales over the last few weeks. My specs are

ASRock B650m pro wifi
Thermal take gf1 850w
Gigabyte RTX 4070 super
Amd ryzen 7800X3D
Gskill flare x5 32gb ddr5
Artic liquid freezer III 240

I already have m.2 drives to use and some old noctura fans from an old system.

My total was $1406.72 across my few orders from Newegg and Amazon. So yes, not exactly the same pricing. You will spend a little more but I think it is much more worth it to spend that now rather then realizing months later that you want an upgrade which will probably cost more in the long run to do.

No. It's designed to self destruct at full load.

Of course it's fine. The 4070 is incredibly efficient. This rig will use 320 watts at most at full load. It's not designed to power a 4090 with intel 14900.

RAM / memory, if anyone wants to sell their OEM memory, I'll buy it. I bought this system in October & wrestling with what memory to buy.

There's 2 previous front page of this Desktop if anyone wants more info about it, check that out..

Ram, some have bought https://www.amazon.com/TEAMGROUP-...TCQKT?th=1

or https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BC8N6...ent=1&th=1

And then you can OEM Ram from Lenovo but it's $ 62/each stick which just seems way to high.

Anyhow if someone has a better option for memory upgrade / adding, I'm all ears. I want 32 total (that's the highest this MB will allow via Lenovo), I do video editing sometimes, that why.

That's almost 300 watts just between cpu and gpu alone
Exactly! 500 Watts more than enough with those running at 265 Watts tdp. That PSU can almost run 2 of these systems simultaneously.

If I was by a microcenter, would consider that route. I think I got mine sorted out but a bit of a headache as there are too many variables.
