I got one of these from a similar deal last year, vibration just started going bad after 13 months of use. Going back to Oral B.

I have asked 7 dentists. Out of the 7 different dentists (2 of whom were award winning) they all said everyone should use an electric tooth brush. Hands down better oral hygiene than manual tooth brushes.

Nice deal.
I bought mine back in July for $30 from Philips and I've been really happy with it.
I tried using a sonicare toothbrush 15 years ago and I hated it and went back to a manual brush after a few weeks but with the new one I got used to it in less than a week.
The 4100 has a lot of nice features for the money (2 vibration speeds, pressure sensor to let you know when you're brushing too hard, 30 second timer for each quadrant of your mouth, etc. ) and the low setting feels gentle enough to not bother my somewhat sensitive teeth and gums.
Battery life is excellent, I usually charge it once a week or so but I've gone over 2 weeks and haven't even seen the low battery light come on.
If you're thinking of trying an electric toothbrush I'd definitely recommend this one.
The more expensive ones may last longer and have more features but I don't think it's worth the investment.
For under $30 you get a toothbrush that will last at least 2-3 years or more vs a $100+ toothbrush that might last 10 or so years.

Why is this coming with a usb-A charger? I get that its becoming more common, but most bathrooms are still going to have a regular 2 pin plug.
It's just a cost cutting measure. There's no possible way that the intended demographic that they are trying to sell to have a free usb a wall outlet and not a free plug in the bathroom. They just are betting that enough people have spare wall bricks from phones and other electronic purchase. I'm sure some people are okay with plugging it into somewhere that does have a free usb a slot not in the bathroom. These aren't required to be charged every night so bringing it out two weeks ain't too bad. Philips more expensive options have the plug.

I believe this is the previous version of this toothbrush. The new version claims 7x cleaning.

I was researching these types of brushes and was going to buy one of the more expensive ones and I was at Best Buy and there was an Aquasonic on clearance for like $20 and I was like what the hell, why not and honestly it's really good. Plus it comes with like 10 extra heads. I am not really sure what a $100 to $300 brush could do better?

The $100+ models don't last 10 years either. Always goes on the sub 2 year mark. Got tired of returning and re-purchasing from Costco and went back to manual. Hygienist measured my pockets and said nothing has changed (which is a good thing) so I lost incentive to go back to electronic brushes altogether

They don't last 10 years... Most have battery issues between 2-3 years

What methodology are people using that don't want to give their phone number away to be exploited?
Any services that explicitly work to receive their text message for verification and pick up order is ready?

Also interested in the Black model over the white model, but pickup doesn't appear for the black model locally, any trick to get the desired color with the deal intact?

Some of the higher end models have a hard plastic button.

I have a 12 year old Diamondclean model HX9340. It's needed a new battery and a few repairs, but I'm handy with stuff like that. It has a hard button. My two previous Philips toothbrushes had rubber buttons and that's the only reason they failed.

Just look at the reviews for all of their models and it shows the story of intentional design decisions to make sure you have to buy another brush every couple of years.

The power cords on these lower end models also deteriorate and become brittle after a couple of years, but it's possible to replace them if you are handy with a soldering iron and screwdriver.

Philips electric toothbrushes are insanely marked up, and have a variety of dark patterns that make the lower end models fail on schedule.

I hope to never have to buy another one from them ever again. I wish the Chinese manufactures would improve their quality just a little more, because some of them are already very decent and comparable with these low-end models.
I love the intentional design decision conspiracy theory. I suggest you spend a couple years in consumer product design and educate yourself.

No one is designing a rubber button to fail LOL. They could have certainly had a bad design or a vendor who made mediocre parts.

Thanks. We have an older hard button version and it's still going strong. I've heard about the soft plastic ones going bad. I'll pass.
