Then not purchasing until it's 14.98
Bought it last time it was on sale for $19. It's fine. I'm pretty disappointed with the performance though. I used to have a pistol grip 4V Ryobi that I loved for around the house stuff but it mysteriously disappeared so I picked this up thinking it would be similar. I have it on the highest torque setting and I've had it max out on things I can hand tighten. Recharging it seemed to help a little but it shouldn't have had a dead battery that fast already and I can't hot swap the battery out like I could on the Ryobi.

What u mean lol, I can max out Ryobi 18 on things I can hand tighten. This is not a tool for extreme torque. I feel like you forgot the actually power of your 4v Ryobi or just got a faulty unit.

Guess I should've said 'hand turn' not 'hand tighten.' It was maxing out on bolts I could still physically turn with my fingers. I must have gotten a defective device or the battery just lasts a fraction as long as my old Ryobi before needing a recharge which is a bummer because it's not removable so the task I'm doing just has to stop for a few hours.

I have the worx brand 4v I go for pc building, I got either 6"or 8" Phillips extension and it works great (3 power speeds) so it has worked on everything with PC, even built an IKEA coffee table. I think this one would be better because head rotates can anyone answer if it has multiple speeds? NM found it also has 3 torque settings. this would be great for IKEA/Walmart furniture and computers. if the worx had plenty of power so would this. and usb-c charging is great just use phone charger. the hyper tough version of this did not have the oomph to remove computer screws

Battery doesn't appear to be replaceable based on a review search. Manufacturer says it's integrated.

Is this product just for small form factor vs drill/driver? Or like less powerful than driver so there's less of chance of stripping/over drilling a screw? Trying to think of uses for this thing
Think of it more as a light-duty powered screwdriver than a drill/driver. Even on the highest torque setting it's not particularly powerful. Where it comes in handy is repetitive disassembly/assembly tasks--running low-resistance fasteners in or out, over and over. Thankfully the gearbox locks up when not powered, so you can use it like a normal screwdriver if the fastener is too tight, or the battery dies.

The most annoying aspect of the design is no bit-retention on the body. The case combo makes it a convenient grab-and-go package. That being said, I don't know if the case combo would be worth it at $30 for me, for what is mostly a secondary, convenience-level tool.

I am not talking about adjusting the torque. I am not able to do a slow start like any cheap pistol style driver.
