No riser or light up marquee, also this is a very common price for this unit.
It's still a great arcade imo, easy to mod.
My Yoga Flame (which is from kohls before Christmas and included a riser) has a lit marquee. I paid $244.99 after $55 in Kohls Cash and got $40 in Kohls Cash. Now it is $499.99 at Kohls.

There are two versions of this machine, one with the lit marquee and riser and one without. If you look at the reviews for the product link, someone says no riser included.

Guess I got lucky. Awesome toy -- lit marquee or not. Controls are excellent, sound is great, and the games are spectacular. I actually bought THREE Street Fighter machines. I got this first. Then the Street Fighter II CE HS-5. I figured I'd play SF2 on the HS-5 and mod the Yoga Flame for Mortal Combat. Then I got the Party-Cade because it was free and because it included Ghosts and Goblins.
Please don't tell me there is another version I have to have.
It has always been this price. This is not on sale. Last time it was posted many users mentioned receiving a different machine. Some people like the artwork on the other machine that was sent and hoped they made the mistake lol Walmart may even refund if they send the wrong item…
Can you guys answer a few questions regarding 1UP?
- From previous posts - additional games can be added or sideloaded for 1UP systems - is this correct?
- If yes to above - do you have to change OS or hack it in anyway?
- I believe 1UP also offers a fee service, for additional games - but I saw in one of the products they now offer free online scoring Comparisions - or something like that - can anyone clarify what is paid for or free for 1UP systems?
- If you can add additional games - how do you account for different input methods if you buy a system with only one joystick and buttons - ie. Two player modes (fighting) - multiple buttons for actions (fighting) or roller ball for input (I guess like golfing sims). I believe there are controller panels out there that can be purchased for all occasions.
- Would it be better just to build your own gaming system using I guess a RasbeeryPi board - emulation SW (all systems - Nintendo/Sony/MAME etc.). Use a good LCD and add input buttons as needed?
I'm kind of nostalgic regarding these standup arcade systems having grown up in the era of video arcades and dropping quarters.
