Food delivery services are so overpriced nowadays. I signed up for grubhub+ through prime, then Uber one through capital one just for not using it even once. Total order always end up 30% more expensive then picking up yourself.

I signed up for this a few years back and cancelled it within a few weeks. Prices on grubhub and similar sites are sooo incredibly inflated, it just promotes putting a larger dent in your wallet.

I just tested it and I do see the free membership that the OP mentioned. Have you used the free GrubHub+ offer from Amazon before? If so, then that's likely why it's not showing free for you? If I recall, it's a one time use offer.
