This is a great price for a old trustworthy toothbrush. I replaced mine every few years at this price

Almost cheaper than buying the replacement heads.
These are turning into printers at this point.

Def worth paying the $10 premium to get the 4100, as the motor on the 4100 has a higher amplitude configuration resulting in better cleaning action:

When did they change to USB chargers?
Why? Who has USB in damp restroom?

There haven't been any in months, other than for the Sonicare One. I have a deal alert set up and it's been completely dry. There used to be brush head deals weekly.

Agree, but you can use the old chargers on the new brushes.

Just bought for Amazon. Walgreens doesn't have any in stock near me. Not worth driving over 15 miles.

The time and gas needed negates the savings

Great catch. I picked up one at Walgreens last fall but really should have gotten a second to leave in my go bag. My only gripe is that the standard program is not very aggressive for cleaning and you have to double-click to get a more vigorous brush (which is still less vigorous than the 10+ year old Phillips it replaced).

and the build quality has sunk quite a lot all these years. My original sonicare (the bulky one) lasted me almost 5yr+ and only replaced it, so i could try the fancy model. However I have been through at least three $100+ fancy models so far, none of them could last more than two years and I am seriously consider switch to oral-b once i used up all my replacement brush heads.
