Looks like fake reviews this is cheap thin plastic I have one and it is worth about 10 dollars

Sidenote: All Marvel Legend prop/replicas are not made of metal. So yeah they're all a hard/decent plastic. I believe there is a metal (prob like sheet metal) Cap shield replica (I know my brother has one) but I think it sells for a few hundred - its one he got like 15-20 years ago.

Not accurate at all bud… the cheapest plastic is polyethylene, and Polycarbonate is the strongest. ABS is considered a more common durable Mid grade plastic that is supposed to be scratch resistant. The material is not what would make this "cheap", it is the amount of material that is used to produce the shield. Unfortunately the manufacture uses a thinner than recommended amount of ABS.

All in all, it's a good quality material shield for the price.

ABS is an impact resistant plastic that can be thermally molded with minimal shrinkage.

If you've ever flown in an airplane, it's the tray table on the back of the seats.

Just got mine...and it is SUPER AWESOME!!! Idon't usually buy comic props and statues but this cool. The strap system.on back is super well constructed. I may have to make a Captain Britain alternate Earth costume for a comic con!!@
