Also received the email, but I'm unable to add it to my account either manually or by scanning. Receive this error message - "Some error occurred while processing request for this item"

Chatted with customer service and it was a technical issue that sent out the Kohl cash by accident , the rep told me to disregard the email.

The cash doesn't add after scanning or manually entering. I guess the guy above called them and they patched up.

THanks OP. I deleted the email then saw this post.

Added manually to Kohls account using Chrome browser and it worked and says value of $10.

I got the promotional email and I added to my Kohl's App. However, it came back as already redeemed - $0.00 Kohl's Cash. Usually Kohl's is good about these promotions but it seems they messed up on this one.

I chatted with customer support too after it said zero value. She said they are going to fix it and will send out another email when it's fixed. Not sure if that meant it will be valid after they fix it.

If you want to keep it and roll it into another month when you get the Kohls card free ship option, buy something at $9.99 for store pickup and don't pick it up. The kohls cash will then repopulate after the order is cancelled due to non pickup a week later and will last for 31 calendar days.

FYI: In subsequent emails from Kohl's, a new certificate should have been issued. They don't call attention to this but it should replace the original one.

Mine was in "Get up to 70% off clearance & explore 1000s of new markdowns"
