No, it is not. Chromebooks with 10th Gen Intel CPU do not meet the requirements for Chromebook Plus.

Very normal, especially for models built around Core-series CPUs aka performance/P-cores.

As a note for those interested in switching a performance flag on this device, the Hyperthreading functionality will be turned off for security reasons [chromium.org] but can be enabled easily [google.com].

Good luck!
Jon

Old dual-core CPU, but sufficient. Specs are reasonable. Not sure if anyone wants to pay $300 for this, but if they do I assume the draw is the QLED (not to be confused with OLED) touchscreen. 13.3" is the exact size I want for my next Chromebook.

I don't have Open Box available "nearby" but if I did it would apparently be $172 for Excellent, which would be fantastic. So you should click through to look at that.

Battery life is the problem with this model. Nice Chromebook but that QLED screen only gives you about 4-5 hours before you have to plug it back in.

My son has this Chromebook and uses it daily for school. He gets around 7-9 hours of use before having to charge it. It also charges fairly quickly as well.

I have the cheapo "enterprise" celeron / 4g / 64gb version with the same screen (can be had for $100 ish on ebay) and here are some comments:
- screen is very good for videos
- keyboard is good
- build quality is good
- it is a little on the heavy side at 2.7 lbs
If you are only getting this for the QLED screen for watching videos get the cheap version like I did. Mine works fine for light web browsing and can handle citrix for remote working in a pinch

Did they fix the touchpad issues? The first generation has a faulty ground on the touchpad so it becomes unusable after a while. Though that gen had a 2230 SSD, it is a cheap move to have eMMC.

If not for dual core I would have bought this, but in Chromebooks is dual core normal? Is it a huge issue?

Got two of the "Excellent" Open Box ones for <$180 incl. tax for the kids, one in store, one shipped. It's a nice looking machine, lightweight, perfect size and weight, performs well, backlit keyboard and higher specs than the other shyte in the price range. The camera is crappy.

No lag on Roblox even with the combo attacks (which is important for it's intended use).

There appears to be an issue with Discord on this thing that I'm trying to resolve at the moment.

Can't believe how cheap these are. Great deal at sub-$200. Pretty good at $300 compared to others in the price range based on the specs.

Not for a Chromebook. I have this in a different brand and it is quite fast.
