Thought 15% off Uber was a good value if you don't know where to use your reward points, and you are an Uber/Eats user. Expires 3/31/2024
Of course, there's the typical 10-15% off on clothing and restaurant gift cards as always, which I think are not worthy

Companies will continue to pay little if there is no regulation on minimum pay. You, me and every salaried employee would be paid near zero and made to work for food if regulations do not exist.
Example - In restaurants, the reason tipping exists mainly is due to lack of minimum pay. It does not matter how much the bar / restaurant makes. They won't share the money unless needed. Neither would any sane minded corporation.
Encouraging more drivers to not drive would only increase surge and make things expensive for us while drivers would continue to get and the middleman (in this case Uber or Lyft) would take more.
He's saying telling riders not to use Uber on the strike day would just lessen demand and Uber wouldn't feel the pain of the strike, it's directly going against the purpose of the strike.

A few years ago they had 2x Shell gift cards. I cashed out all my discover rewards. Been waiting for it to happen again but I think that was a once in a lifetime deal.
If that's the case, why don't you start your own company and earn 60-90% and doing almost none of the work 🙄. Last time I checked, Uber/Lyft didn't force drivers to drive for them.
If you can get another job and get paid more than what you earn at Uber/Lyft, please take that job. That is the most effective way to protest.
