I initially thought I got a bad board because I had issues with several M.2 slots not detecting a drive but this resolved with a BIOS update.
The Amazon reviews mention slow boot but in my experience, this is very typical for AM5. For context I have another PC with an ASUS X670E and it is slower than thr MSI.
Over the weekend I picked up an ASRock B650E PG Riptide WiFi for $180 on Amazon that ticks all the same critical boxes and most of the niceties as well. Today that board is going for $190, $30 less than this one. Unless you're fiercely loyal to MSI or are starstruck with the aesthetics, I'm not seeing the reason to spend extra here when it could go toward other components where the difference will be much more significant.

Mem OC support might be better on the higher end boards?
Was looking to doing a white build and although this mother board doesn't look as good as the GIGABYTE B650 AORUS ELITE AX ICE in aesthetics, it costs the same while the aorus has 1 less nvme slot and does not have pcie 4.0 x 4 (only pcie 3.0 x 1, and 1 less pcie slot).
I think this is a good price considering the new 9000 series cpu are expected to release sometime this year with supposedly new motherboards that will probably cost way more than what we can get at this price point for features, especially in some form of a white/silver motherboard.

One big plus for this board is the amount of USB ports on the back. His last Asus board (tuf x570 pro) didn't have enough and we had to buy a pci usb board to add 4 more.
Basically a x670e motherboard + usb 4.
Don't know if people are willing to pay the cost though since x670e add on cards cost $100+ for usb4.
