Check your Circle offers for a 20% off coupon that applies to "video game software." It supposedly excludes Nintendo first-party releases, but it still works on the Joy-Con bundle that includes a Super Mario Party download code in the box.

The Circle offer expires on March 9th.

$80 is standard retail for a pair of Joy-Cons on their own, and the item description specifies that the bundle includes a digital code for Super Mario Party valued at $40.

However, Super Mario Party is usually one of the games that gets its price slashed to $30 on March 10th as part of Mario Day sales, and used copies of the game go for about $30 on eBay, so the $40 "added value" in the description is more like $30 added value with this timing.

True as I do agree with what you're saying there. Unfortunately there is a reason for this game being…for a lack of better word, unpopular.

this game hasn't get alot of praises compared to Mario Party Superstar, the second iteration for this gen. Reviewers vastly prefer the 2nd one.

I for example prefer the second one for being close and fun to Mario Party 1 from N64 imo. Super Mario Party has slow lengthy dull pacings.

Speak for myself obviously but The naming in convention is stupidly confusing for the masses that Nintendo stupidly wanted to protect it IP.

Super Mario Party

Mario Party Superstar

Nintendo says "No such thing as bad first party game", said them. "Make it $60 365 days per year!". Eye rolls….

I've tried out Super Mario Party with friends and it's worked well enough for us, but I have noticed that Superstars sells for much, much more secondhand.

Nintendo's price control on their first-party Switch games and accessories has been ridiculous for the past seven years. Most of my Switch library has been bought used either through eBay or GameStop (which come with their own risks) a few years after release and even then the first-party games ran $25-30 each.

i have 3 target accounts but i didn't have the offer on any of them. registry coupons don't work on this item, but they do work on the joy-cons without the game

Not a bad deal if you need Joy-Cons and want the game, but I will add that the previous iteration of this bundle used to come with a physical game.

The $40 "added" value in the description is based on the $100 MSRP for this bundle. The $30 is something you just came up with.

Excellent price, well worth the game and controllers. It has been cheaper but not by much, in the past, i believe once or twice but it's rare.

It was b2g1 as part of the Best Buy deal when that was a thing. Could get 3 for $200+tax. But I've misplaced my Time Machine, this deal is great!

This is why I've kept the "classic" view of Slickdeals....as there's many threads where it seems folks are downvoting I guess other folks comments and all that stuff.

Nope nope nope! Classic just shows only the upvote/downvotes of the specific thread Smilie
