So I think you don't have to send in your old device. But I'd probably call or chat with them to be sure.

But if the phone/line you're upgrading currently have monthly device promo credit, you'd lose that. Hefty sum if you have more than a couple of months remain. Not worth it for a locked device
I know Xfinity Mobile is on the Verizon network and understand that Verizon would de-prioritize resellers like Xfinity Mobile in congested areas such as arenas, crowded events,... I wonder how prevalent this is and if anyone has experienced this where your internet is slowed to a crawl in crowed places?

T-Mobile doesn't offer their existing customers any upgrade deals that are worth considering. I have been considering switching to Xfinity Mobile to get upgrade offers but have some concern mentioned above.

I have had XM for about 3 years now and have zero issues with it. I am in the SF bay area. I just wish they had better international plans like TMobile or Google FI.
