I never thought I'd feel good about a fast food operator but in Austin there are TWO that I respect.
The other is one of the local chick-fil-a franchisees who had a store being renovated for 9 months and kept his whole staff on salary during the time the store was not running.
1) Close the store for business for the day because they didn't want to give out free cones
or 2) Put up a sign saying they aren't participating because they're a "mall location". It was a unit in a strip mall, they had their own entrance door
