Xm5 doesn't even fold. So if you travel, I'd got the xm4
That said, if you travel over 6 hours, the signature sony headphone ear cramping will come to play ( I don't know why, but they have had this poor ear chamber design since 1990), I would get bose instead if you do long haul flights

And yes, I have them all

You can check rtings or a bunch of other review websites.

Bottom line is that XM5 may only be a slight upgrade with regard to ANC, however this may not even be noticeable. Both are great options. I don't think you would regret purchasing the XM4's and saving ~$50.

These or the XM5s when they're on sale for $200? I've got a pair of XM2s but would like to upgrade. I know these fold which is a big plus compared to the XM5

Last time I got headphones it turned out a bunch were counterfeit (sennheiser) so my question is are these authorized sales as well as not 3rd party mixing of product like Amazon?
