I like Cascade pods and they work really well but leave this after smell / taste on certain plastics. How do these work compared to cascade and do they leave the same lingering smell on plastics?
I thought it was just me - everyone raves about the Cascade pods, but all my dishes tasted like soap. I don't have this problem with the Finish. It's all I use now. Especially when Amazon discounts them every month or so.

The 100 pcs version is $5 off at costco. Not sure what the warehouse price is, though
Just get the Kirkland Signature tablets. It's like $11.50 for 115 of them.

It works better.

Unfortunately, it's becoming hard to find.

True. It works better and it's so much cheaper. I've found Walmart has their brand and Cascade always in stock. Most grocery stores stock Cascade. And Trader Joe's has their own brand. I've also used the gel and it works well and is much cheaper than the pods. There is a reason the manufacturers and retailers push the higher cost products. They add "value" via packaging and also portion control, and they charge you for that. Higher ring totals and bigger margins and forcing you to use more product. The powder is also nice for other uses and for when I run a quick, small amount of dishes, the pods aren't severable.

If the price is close, and if you have membership at Costco (or Sam's or BJs', etc.), get it from a local store like Costco, etc.

Don't trust Amazon's warehousing/shipping methods with anything that can go bad with heat/cold/sun/humidity/etc.

I needed to hear this. I tend to rinse dishes afterwards which is tiring. I'll give these a go and see if I notice a difference. Thanks!

Man, I I tried to use the powder but my dishes don't come out clean . I even add the rinse liquid and toss a bit on the door for "prewash", but dishes always come out hit and miss. I'm back to using the pods from Sams club for now.

Hàve used Finish for some time. After swapping to these, I rarely ever have anything left on dishes. Put a small amount of dawn in the prewash and together they knock it out.
