Why do people on this forum feel compelled to answer questions they obviously know nothing about? If you don't have the product in question, or know the specs, it's OK to simply not answer instead of making un-educated guesses.

Bought it when I saw it. It's good overall for the price. It has great voice enhancement to make voices more clear. Yes you actually push it forward to the edge of your entertainment shelf or system because it has a small Atmos set up. This is not going to fill your room with surroundsound, but it works great over any TV speakers and way better than any other sound bar at $99, and yes it has Atmos plus two integrated subs inside it

Bought it when I saw it. It's good overall for the price. It has great voice enhancement to make voices more clear. Yes you actually push it forward to the edge of your entertainment shelf or system because it has a small Atmos set up. I feel like Denon is missing out on the entire soundbar market, they have 100% the means to build a decent soundbar and be one of the few on the market competing w/ a decent room EQ esp since they own Audassy and can license dirac. They just need to upgrade the heos ecosystem.

Does it really do atmos? It says it's only a 2.1 wouldn't it need more than 2 speakers to be atmos?

Correct. It can process accept the atmos signal and send it through the speakers as a fake atmos. That's probably why they claim atmos. How well the sound bar can fake it? Gotta try to find out. I have a Vizio that sends fake atmos and it's decent.

I'm not really a soundbar person but tried both this Denon and the Yamaha. They both have a sub out port which is a huge advantage. I thought the Yamaha sounded a little better so I ended up keeping it and combining it with an old Velodyne sub I had lying around. It's a decent little bedroom setup. It does take some time to get a decent sub to blend well with these soundbars.
