This is an absolutely great game. Put 200 plus hours into it last year. It is going for historical accuracy so there is no magic and there is a steep learning curve especially for hardcore mode.

I just wish they'd patch this to run at 60fps on PS5. It's the only reason I won't go back to it on PlayStation.

Is the lockpicking in this game still impossible to do with a controller?

I have the base game on the PC from some give away (I think Epic?). I started it but didn't get very far and have meant to pick it back up. How's playing this on the PS5 compare to the PC version? I tend to play more on PS5 and this includes the DLC...

I'll echo this. I loved hardcore mode. I threw all of the negative perks on and it was such a fun experience playing without knowing where you were on the map and having to learn it. The fact that the open world was small enough that you could learn how to get around without the game telling you where you were was fantastic. I still got lost a decent amount, but it made the experience that much better.

Hahaha man I've started this game like 5 times and spend 30 mins trying to unlock that first chest. And then give up. And then a year later try again. Rinse repeat.

It's funny you post this, because I have been playing this on a steam deck, and could not figure out what to do to pick a chest, figured I just missed a tutorial, but maybe it is just impossible

I've heard great things but also heard how the game has never been refreshed for modern consoles and was kind of straining last gen hardware.

Is it worth waiting for a sale on xbox or should I bite on this PS version?

I can tell it's a great game, but I never finished it. That 30fps cap on the newer systems is just dreadful, not to mention it looks ugly. It's fun when I do play it when I reinstall it, but that framerate is such a turn off.

For this price, definitely get it. If you are someone who can't handle 30fps anymore, I think you should still give it a chance

You can change it in the game settings where it's only one joystick and you hold O I think.

Might as well play Gollum on PS5
