Makita makes excellent products. I have the Ryobi 18v 7-1/4" slider (I think it's brushless but could be wrong) and that is light and portable enough for my trim needs on job sites. While this is dual bevel it lacks a bigger blade and is limited to basically common interior trim sizes with little other utility.
honestly, a few years ago I think I paid less for the Makita 10" 36V miter saw KIT (included x2 5.0Ah batteries).

Makita's equivalent would be XSL02Z - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017ZBCMQ6/ - which is twice as heavy is this one and over 20lbs - past a point where I would have to think about properly grabbing it from a bottom shelf as to avoid twisting a shoulder etc.
Honestly, my main motivation for this is to grab-and-go when I need to make a quick cut - looks like it can cut up to a 2x4. I do have a corded 12" slider but I rarely go for it for a single one-off cut just because it take time to get out of the garage. I usually grab a hand saw or a M12 circular saw which I absolutely love. But needless to say the cuts are usually less than straight and often require time to correct them - the time that I could have spent getting out the slider

The saw you posted is a 36V saw, requiring x2 batteries.

Yep, I payed about same price last year for the 10. with 2x5.0...
But at least it's on sale which is basically a miracle. The rebates they have going on now are quite nice though.
