Good question. I'm curious to know too. I could see it being free with GP Ultimate. Im halfway interested in grabbing this but I feel like the chances I make my way back to Starfield aren't very high right now.

I might suspect not, kinda like with Forza where the base game is on GP but the expansions and dlcs are not

I can't force myself to do another floating around in the temple exercise and abandoned the game already.

Any news on this game getting 60 fps upgrade on Xbox? I just can't deal with 30 fps.

This! Worst mini-game ever. How that ever got approved (in an otherwise decent game) is beyond me.

This absolutely sums up the entire game. I did the same thing. Could not even finish the main story line.

I think I must've played in smaller chunks, but I started on day one and still playing the first playthrough. Every Bethesda game gets me wrapped up in side quests and exploring. Exploring, not so much here. But I could find myself wasting precious time by checking out the next solar system and scanning all its planets, then Outposting for a ridiculous amount of time, then killing enemy outposts, selling the loot... It was all... fun. Nothing was SPECTACULAR but it was as good enough that I don't feel my money was wasted. I hope they add enough DLC to keep it fresh. They left themselves PLENTY of openings!

Did they add a local map? It's hard to believe in an era of interstellar travel, no local map is included.

Then don't. The game does not force you to collect or use powers.

So you're basically paying for the DLC and getting a steelbook and patch in the deal. The in-game items aren't anything special, and I feel like digital artwork and soundtrack don't move the needle for most people.

If I were planning on playing the DLC, I'd consider this, but after a ~130 hour playthrough where the amount of fun I was having was basically a bell curve, I don't really have a desire to go back to that world/universe. Which is something I didn't think I'd ever type/say about an open-world Bethesda game.

I thought the game was "ok." Not bad....not amazing..... just ok. About 3/5 stars. Overall feels like a step backwards from Skyrim & Fallout 4 as well as the rest of the industry and where it has come in the past few years. Big thing going in is to expect an RPG with space as a background, not a true space exploration game that it seems to project.

In Fallout & Skyrim you had a desire to keep pushing to the edge of the unknown map to find unique caves, buildings, settlers, etc. Starfield is the same generated points of interest spaced with a lot of boredom in-between. No real motivation to deviate from main quest lines.

The Other Worlds did it right by having the game streamlined. Quality over quantity.

Only issue paying for this is it's been 6 months. Updates and fixes have been slow and no info has really been introduced about the DLC or the games future itself.

Still waiting on the DLC for Redfall as well.....
