I picked this one when i moved into a new house couple years ago. Figure it would be nice to have both but the charcoal part kinda sucks. I had used the flat top mostly and even though i don't have allot of ppl at the house, it was too small. Was nice for smashburgers but can't really do many at same time. Ended up picking up a Weber kettle a year later and use it mainly now. If you get a Blackstone, better off just getting a larger flat top only. Better to have separate. My experience at least.

Edit: sorry quoted wrong post lol

Does anyone have any insight on this grill? I've been holding out on getting a Blackstone for over a year now hoping to find a good deal. I wasn't aware they made one that also incorporated a charcoal grill. I'd prefer propane but this still looks like a very useful summertime buy.

This one is half charcoal and half propane.

A lot of them were on sale during the holiday last year because I almost pulled the trigger on a few different ones but ended up not getting it but they were really good prices

So many bad reviews on the Walmart page saying the package came badly damaged with bent pieces inside. Shipping doesn't seem worth it. :/

Mixed feelings, the 22 griddle Duo was $98 in November with the $50 hood included, it's only used to keep dirt, animals out, not to cook. You need the hood.

Duo sides so you can gridded at 2 temperatures, or buy a small cooling rack to place on one side, close enough to gridded top, to keep things warm, flies, bugs off.

That way both sides at same temperature, if cooking for a crowd.

A lot of real estate to really Japanese, Chinese style cooking.

With a $100 folding OOX griddle table it is a good combo.

I just think a 17 inch gridded is too small. You will like cooking on it, but wishing for a little more space, for the fries, onions, buns, burgers, staging away, keep warm holding.

Also the center of the griddle is the hottest, edges cooler, over each burner so a duo burner griddle is much better. The single burner is very fine, but you would do move moving about.

That said this does look like a very good price, say for 2 people?

It would be more useful with a folding table, so portable, think Tear Drop camper, boat for shore, dock cooking.

A small Webber grill would probably be better if you can catch a duo griddle for $98.

I've owned this model for 4 years, I do wish it had a hood, but getting one of those griddle domes does the trick. I often use a griddle top on the charcoal side and I have myself a taco making machine. It's a great little griddle/grill combo, the grill grate height can be adjusted, the burners are not powerful, they take a bit to get up to temp. The footprint is not huge and can be easily moved around on flat surfaces . Wish it had foldable legs, which would make this an easy go to for tailgating or camping

These things seem cool until you buy one and realize you wish you had more space on each side. Might work for some folks, but I think most people will end up wanting more room on the griddle to do things like hibachi rice etc which takes a lot of room.
