Hope we see similar deals from the east coast. Would love to get back there soon. 🤞 🇬🇷
If you're flying with someone and want to sit together, don't purchase this (economy basic) fare class.
Bought basic economy and they split us apart across the aisle in center seats. We were assigned these during checkin (24 hours prior to departure).
After that, they tried to upsell every seat, even the crappiest ones by the toilets with limited reclines for $89 a pop so we could sit together.
They kept changing availability every couple of hours so they had the two seats next to each other to begin with.
We're well traveled internationally with many airlines and decided to give this a try assuming it can't be that bad. Never again on basic economy, not worth it.

Excellent point. I went in September. We pretty much had the run of the place. Same with Crete.
Enough people to people watch, before Greeks went fully on vacation after the busy season, but not nearly enough people to be annoying. I forget which city it was, but we literally walked around and negotiated nightly stays. This was 2005 though. Who knows now.
