I actually think the graphics aged extremely well in this. It's not cartoonish but it wasn't exactly going for realism either. Looks incredible even today.

Here are instructions on how to get American McGee's Alice (the first game) downloaded and working in the Origin version of Alice: Madness Returns (the second game).

It's specifically for the Steam version, but the instructions work for the Origin version except for the following changes:
  • In step 2, copy the 'Alice1' folder to "Alice Madness Returns\Game\Alice1".
  • In step 4, you don't make the change to the 'Alice1Path' setting.

Sadly part 3 was never made even though all the game assets were completed. You can find them as a free download on patreon under American McGee. EA turned the game down with everything ready to go, but also did not allow the game to be made by anyone else. It's a complete travesty. Part 3 looked incredible.

2.99 on Steam if you prefer Steam like I do. I beat it on ps3, but it's a great game.
