probably safer to get from walgreens. same price
Love this scent. Not too strong. Staple in my collection.
I've had this since COVID it is one of the worst in my collection not because of the smell but the fact that after about 2 hours(if that ) it disappears and you can barely smell anything.. in my opinion it's a waste of money but to each his own.

had this about 10 years ago, and there was no issue with longevity. have they reformulated it?

I have the same question. I used this daily and even my girlfriend was was allergic to scents liked it. I lost it after a camping trip in 2017 and switched to Creed Silver Mountain Water but was considering buying it again. Just not if the formulation changed.

Yeah YSL reformulated their stuff to shit. I do like 10 sprays in the morning on top of moisturizer and reapply every 4 hours. A clone house would kill it bringing back a dupe of the OG l'homme and LNDL.

It used to be strong and a lot of people complained of allergies or itching when it first came out. I remember spraying it on and going to target and having people turn to see who was wearing so much cologne with just 2 sprays. Not anymore to say the least. The scent is also much different, like it's so powdery now and smells a lot cheaper. So yeah. If you've smelled Givenchy Pi, it's actually very similar to that now and my bottles were purchased from YSL on black Friday.

Just what people want to smell on a man, strong smelling scents that fill up a room!

Because we have absolutely no control over the amount we spray on ourselves 🤡

So what you're saying is the "soft scent" you were doggin' in your previous post could be sprayed more?! EEK! Hey, at least we agree on something.

Recently ordered the Sauvage Dior Elixir from another SD thread. It's from amazon though. I haven't received it yet, but any thoughts on it?

Personally I'm not a fan of Sauvage... Tried it didn't like it, gave it away. That being said that's just me .. it is quite popular so thats something to say for it, and the elixir is beast mode from what I hear. Moving forward however I would suggest you stay away from Amazon when shopping for colognes...they don't have a particularly good reputation for authenticity....you could look into a couple of reputable discounters like jomashop,fragrancenet... heck I'd wait for Macy's to go on sale and buy there than shop on Amazon for my colognes. Again that's just me .

Nope I totally disagree... I have a couple of EDT's that last way longer including (but not limited to) YSL Y EDT and the performance is outstanding even in humid and hot temperatures... So saying it's an EDT is not an excuse for it not to last 2 hours. This thing doesn't last period .. If you need recommendations I could name a few EDTs that last way longer ..
Totally agree.

EDT should not be a an excuse for longevity, hell not should price be an excuse.
Checkout nautica voyage.
That shit lingers for DAYS after I spray it...

Either way, I'm definitely in the minority where I don't want all my frags to last all day.
It's good to know if a frag isn't gonna last all day but if I just wanna smell a scent a brief period, I'll spritz it on.

Thank You! I tried the Elixir at Sephora and really liked it. I am aware of Amazon fragrance issue, but the price was too good - so I bit. Fingers crossed.

I bought a bottle of this a few years back, maybe I got a dud or maybe I just don't like it but it smells very "powdery" to me
