Was at Costco yesterday and saw this priced at $19.99. Took a pic of it and came to checkout and asked clerk to price check to make sure the price was not a mistake and was delighted at the price. Bought one. Will post pic of the price if I can. (can't see option in app right now)
(apologies. The pic of price is blurry but it tells you the model # and price and I wasn't hallucinating!)

Wait… what year is it?
Early enough that we still have old people around who haven't had mobile phones for half their lives and still think they need landlines all over their homes, for whatever reason. My mom's old Panasonics are still going strong or I'd grab these because she'd think they were a nice gift. She's an Android fan despite being in her 70s, but that part means she's got to have landlines of course, and multiple handsets.

My local store price: $50.
Same. I just bought one at $49.97 for my Mom who has a cell phone but keeps her landline around too.

Exactly. I've got several "junk" Androids all over my house for the same purpose. Google Voice on each, and they all ring. I'm not paying another subscription.
If you using your Android phones with GV in WiFi mode, you are seriously frying your brain. I measured microwave radiation emitted, and it's extremely high at 0.5W average with occasional bursts up to 1 W/m2.

We have had a previous version of this for about 20 years. We keep it because my 87 year-old in-laws can't figure out cellphones. By switching our landline number to Google Voice, it costs us nothing to have it. You can set the Panasonic to simultaneously ring a cellphone, so even when we are not home, my in-laws can always get a hold of us.
Are your in-laws able to make 911 calls with Google voice?

I set up what I think is an easier system for my parents. I ported their landline to mobile, then connected the mobile phone to a Panasonic home phone via bluetooth. They can make and receive calls on the Panasonic phone without ever touching the mobile phone. They only need to keep the mobile phone charged.

Any chance someone knows the price of these at the Brooklyn NY warehouse?

Would rather not waste 2+ hours commuting round trip if its still $90 there.

I got a previous model a few years ago at Costco on clearance too. Besides VOIP, Ki have it paired to two cell phone two. I can pick up phone calls from all 3 lines anywhere in the house without looking for my cell.

What are these even used for?
You use them to call your cell phone when you lose it.

I have a previous version with 6 handsets. Wish it supported 10 like my old Uniden set, but that set interfered with 5ghz WiFi, and these don't.

Which Costco location has this in store for that price? All locations or was it a manager special?

How do you get service to Google voice (via WiFi?)? How does it ring the Panasonic? I am interested. Thanks
You need an Obihai device.

Dont think you can upload pics via the app you need to use a browser ( or shoot me a pm if you need more help )
they paid alot to the guy who made a half baked app. they couldnt even fix it since then? its almost 10 yrs already. that feature should be the easiest add on. most of non experienced 4 yr computer science guys can do that in their school senior project.
