Vinyl is complete garbage. I will only buy 100% rubber. After my vinyl air hose started breaking through at every point in a bend, i lucked out and found a 50', 1/2" all rubber air hose at a dollar store for $15 last year on clearance. HF had similar for around $25.

Think I'm buying the hybrid hose. Gets better reviews at HD and Amazon than the rubber hose, and also taking into account comments made on this thread.
