Meile will not go down below a certain point. They are a premium brand that seems to use decent build quality. I took apart my c3... It's solid stuff. Maybe the circuit boards can get cheaper but honestly not likely... They built a brand name and they want to make their margins on it
Just wanted to add. My c3 has been one of my favorite purchases to date. I bought a number of cordless ones for spot clean ups including the Samsung jet top end model and everytime I use anything other than the miele I get frustrated. It has better suction on levels 1-2 than the cordless does on max and its quiet enough I can talk to someone with it running.
Wish miele, or anyone made a good bagged stick vacuum. Hate bag less clean up

Huge thanks OP! Our Shark just crapped out two days ago and I was on this website yesterday. Decided to wait as they didn't have a code and then you showed up. Moving on to a real vacuum.
i bought a miele below 200 dollars 5 years ago.
so I thought prices of technology goes down seems like vacuums have hit a brick wall and prices aint going down.
meaning productivity and technology went down relative to inflation.
it just means their inflation dollars aint being used correctly to produce improvements to society so whomever inflated money are trolls and thieves all by design.

The C2 was a bargain (made in Germany) but is discontinued. C1 series is cheap Chinese stuff and the C3 is overpriced (also made in Germany)...better to buy a SEBO when on sale (rarely)
In for one - Miele Compact C1 Turbo Team PowerLine.
I have a Dyson Ball that I'm going to return to Costco. It's been ok, but the fact that it can't vacuum our Ruggable rugs without an Etsy mod is annoying. I have to remove the mod when switching over to hard floors. Makes vacuuming a pain.
