I just tried this one out two weeks ago. Worked great and was comfortable. Just bought another one. Cheaper than buying replacement lens.

As someone who bought a new pair of goggles a few weeks ago I was heavily debating getting these. At the end of the day I decided to get Smiths as the lenses don't have any coating and don't provid much protection against the sun. There was a couple YT video and forums posts about it and I didn't want to risk retina damage just to save some $$

I have this and I've been using it for 3+ ski seasons. No complain.
Good value for the price.

These are great goggles, like knockoff anon m2 for a fair price. This company makes quality products.

Note that the replacement lenses currently cost more than the entire goggles!

Do these crack easily? I've been reading where they have been cracking.

We have 2 pairs, I also have the anons I list above that were over 200 dollars... I can't tell a difference between them. Ours haven't cracked, but for 20 bucks who cares if they do?

Wow that didn't last long, gone for me too, unless it's specific to the login?

Retina damage? So you should wear sunglasses outside all the time…

The atmosphere is thinner on ski slopes, thus more UV gets through. It's quite drastic. There is an increase of six to ten percent more UV for every 1000 feet of elevation.

I'm not an "expert" but polycarbonate blocks UV by nature of its properties. I used to work on very high power UV lasers that you had to wear sunscreen or cover all skin or youd get "sunburn" very fast (photo biochemical reaction) from reflections in certain scenarios. I used to show people why even basic safety glasses were important by setting up a power meter measuring the energy of the laser beam that was all UV light and putting a $3 pair of safety glasses in the beam. The safety glasses were totally wrecked by the beam absorbing into them and etching the lens but the power at the meter was nothing in that case (because the beam was a specific wavelength). The lenses blocked all of it. Sunlight is a range of wavelengths making it different, but polycarbonate is still going to block most of the harmful wavelengths. Thats why cheap sunglasses usually say they block UV. If these are polycarbonate they should block UV pretty well evenif not rated. Also unrelated but relevant, don't confuse UV (not visible) with brightness as the clear polycarbonate lens is still very effective, just not as comfortable visually in really bright sunlight. Like I said I'm not an expert but thought sharing my experiences may be helpful or at least of some interest to some readers. In a high UV environment I'd definitely even choose the cheap safety glasses or any polycarbonate lens over nothing for some level of protection. These goggle lenses are made of PC + UV meaning polycarbonate with a UV coating. Hopefully this helps. If you're not comfortable, by all means get what you are comfortable with physically and mentally. I always tell people for any safety equipment which I consider these to be, buy what you like and will wear.
