I used to put it in the dishwasher, but I was realizing that I was getting coffee build up in the bottom of the bottle, plus the paint flaked off.

I just rinse it at work and give it a deep clean at home everyday and it's not flaking anymore.

I've been using these for almost a decade and haven't found another thermos that keeps drinks hot/cold for as long (over a full day), and this also easy to take apart and clean.

I've had one for years but I stopped using it. It really does keep the coffee way too hot. Burned my mouth a few times. The Yeti Hotshot bottle works better for me in that respect. Coffee cools to a drinkable temperature and it's easier to clean.
