Thanks, I am not crazy about red or gold, but PS4 controllers are gonna be rare soon so $25 for an officially refurbished one is a great price!

I bought one from eBay listed as new. When I got it, it looked legit but then noticed that the weight and controls felt odd. The seller deleted the original listing and I couldn't leave a negative feedback. He offered to refund me half if I kept it, but I insisted on a full refund. Scammers should get their hands lopped off.

I'd probably buy a controller and then get a custom shell for it.

I don't see DS4 controllers go on sale new too often anymore, and the market is absolutely saturated with fake ones. I ordered one of these mid last year, has been working great so far, looked brand new when I received it. Considering ordering another as a spare at this price.

Yeah, the cheapest I have seen for new is $45, and last post on refurb direct from sony was $30.
I am sure at some point retailers will eventually clearance them out, but have not seen it yet.
So good deal, thanks OP, been meaning to get another controller.
I have two PS4s, 3 kids, and a back catalog of 50+ games. I'm sure one will wear out before I am done with my consoles.

Yep i'm on the PS4 controllers that are even Remotely real even if refurbished will be really hard to come by.

Pretty much if you don't buy direct from sony or bestbuy at store. You're probably going to get a fake.
