I bought one from eBay listed as new. When I got it, it looked legit but then noticed that the weight and controls felt odd. The seller deleted the original listing and I couldn't leave a negative feedback. He offered to refund me half if I kept it, but I insisted on a full refund. Scammers should get their hands lopped off.

It works wirelessly. It comes with a wireless dongle that you plug into the USB port. I think that's how it works wirelessly on the PS4 as well.

I tried to figure this out too and the best I can come up with is that you can't use it directly, but there is a workaround that doesn't fit my needs but might work for others: You can have the dongle plugged into the PS5 and audio will come through that, but that assumes you're playing the portal in range of the PS5. Also I'm guessing the audio will be slightly ahead of what's happening on the portal since it's coming from the PS5 instead of the portal and there is some latency there.
You can also just use it as a wired headset, but my understanding is that it disables almost all the fancy features.
