huh? They were some games I "own" from PS Plus now so I was fine giving up the physical versions of them.

GameStop is offering GameStop Pro Members: Trade-In a PlayStation 5 Console (Disc) for $385 in GameStop Store Credit.

So I got $385 for my disc version and since the PS5 Spidey bundle w/ disc drive is on sale for $450, they did another $25 off for picking up in store so I got it for $425. I got $431 in total trade between the games and a spare xbox controller I had so only paid the remaining taxes.

Exactly. It's just wasting money and time to get all of your games back on. To be honest, less room for the PS5 to breathe will cause more issues.

I did this whole thing with PS4 many years ago. Traded in my fat PS4 and got a PS4 Slim for additional maybe $20-$40 something…

For fresh Warranty and just updated system design and what not…

But then they released PS4 Pro! Many months later
