Not UL listed. I buy plenty of junk on slickdeals that isn't, but I don't think I would trust a heating pad. Just seems like the worst kind of object to cut corners in production of. At $5 shipped there is no way this is a quality constructed unit. I use a heating pad almost everyday on my recliner, but if it ever did catch fire it would go off like gasoline in here once the chair got going.

Good looking out. I keep things like this plugged into a smart plug whether it's UL listed or not. Set it for whatever amount of time I want to use it and not stress too much about forgetting to turn it off.

That is a good point. I'll have to pop it open and see what type of isolation there is with the mains side and the low-voltage heating side.

Fakespot gives it C rating (3 star) and lot of negative reviews of the product not lasting long or not warm enough. <iframe width='350' height='320' src='https://www.fakespot.com/product/embed/heating-pad-for-back-neck-and-shoulder-pain-relief-electric-heating-pads-for-cramps-with-6-heat-settings-auto-shut-off-moist-dry-heat-options-machine-washable-12-x-24-gifts-for-women-men' frameborder='0'></iframe>

UL isn't the only electrical safety test lab so just because it doesn't have a UL mark doesn't mean it's unsafe and doesn't comply with the appropriate standards. It does have have some certification marks on the label as far as I can tell so I'm hoping there's some diligence and for 5 bucks I'm willing to risk it.
