Sorry, quoted wrong person. Meant to reply to drummr8

Only downside is the batteries. The torque on the Milwaukee is a beast. It won't bog down. I cut a quarter acre with the mower, and have 2 bars left usually. I trim with a 6.0 or 8.0 on the weedeater, then take the 12.0s and use them on the dual blower to clean up. For a small .25 to .50 acre residential lot, it's great. Anything more, I'd stick with gas. The batteries can get expensive unless you buy them during Bogo deals.

While I don't know anyone with this mower, I know several with other high end battery mowers. Big thick patches of Bermuda has really gotten common around here the last several years for some reason, vs the usual st Augustine in these parts. NONE of them seem to handle it well. Every single one of them complain about it.

How does this do compared to the gold standard Honda HRX gas mowers? mine is getting a little old so thinking to replace with one of these. needs to be able to handle Bermuda grass without getting bogged down.

You can also go direct to factory authorized outlet too if you're not feeling on dealing with eBay.

No one is going to convince me that any electric mower touches a Honda. I'd have to try that for myself.

Yeah that's how I feel. However, my Honda does struggle with my bermuda grass in SC, especially if I try to cut it lower. Maybe the torque of an electric motor can handle it better without getting bogged down?

I have two hrx mowers, bought a second in a local auction. Best. Stuffs the grass bag better than any other I've had.

I have that same one! I wouldn't change until it is like dead! Why because Milwaukee mower will over heat and turn off! They need to make it better! I will use the Honda until the wheels fall off! If it does and Milwaukee hasn't addressed the issues I will just buy a Makita! My neighbor has it and it definitely works well! I have m18 quik lock weeder, edger, blower, chainsaw, polesaw, hedge trimmer, extension pole, blowers and all others are fantastic! Still have my gas echo back blower, edger, weeder but definitely prefer not smelling like gas!

I'm sort of addicted to that Honda engine "purr"…it makes mowing my lawn a Zen kind of thing. And it's sucks everything it mows right up into the bag so sweetly….

Love Milwaukee. I thoroughly enjoy the trimmer, hedger, blower, and even the chainsaw. But I don't think I'll ever get the mower, although I am in the same boat as you. Had my Honda for going on twenty years, so it's fading. But I'd probably buy a new one if it came down to it.

Deals are temping tho.

If I hadn't just bought the Ego deal, this would have been super tempting. Those batteries would help with other applications
