Pretty solid deal for CV squire jazzmaster in Daphne Blue. Other colors are not as discounted.
1st time poster long long time creeper, so go easy on me gang.
From my reddit and friends/family reviews, the squire jazzmaster (classic vibe) CV and JM (j macis) are pretty solid quality generally speaking. And a value at their price.
The Classic Vibe holds its own and ranks very high. I love these Squiers as mod platforms.
The Player series JM doesn't even have a rhythm circuit. I'd prefer a classic vibe or J Mascis for a lot less money.
I just picked up the J Mascis JM and it's awesome. Its got its own personality and growl but also with some sparkly overtones. Just need to get a gig bag for it now lol

The trem/vibrato is probably the weakest point. I've upgraded to the Fender AVRI units a few times. They run about $80. Next would be pickups, but try the stock ones first. Check out Mike Adams aka "puisheen" on YouTube for setup tips. These are finicky guitars but can be awesome with a proper setup.

i bit on this one a couple weeks ago and the guitar I got from musician's friend was just f'n awesome. the only minor flaws i found (and i had to really nitpick for these) were there was a little bit of lacquer from the neck on the nut and a tiny tiny amount of glue on the fretboard edge in a couple places. i first played one of these at guitar center where i went in expecting to buy a mascis jazzmaster, i liked the pups in the classic vibe more, but i didn't like the color they had and it was $80 more than this was. i decided to wait on a deal, i waited about a month and this popped up, i immediately replaced the trem with an american fender vintage trem ($80 ebay), replaced the strings, and shimmed the neck. I don't think I will replace the bridge, pickups, or electronics. this is literally the best bang for buck guitar i've ever had. i will probably be looking into purchasing more classic vibes in the future.

no Humbuckers on this. Pure Vintage 65's.
