This one has a better processor but if you are just gaming you probably wouldnt notice a difference. The gpu is better by roughly 15% and you probably would notice that.
If it was me and I had the amex additonal 120 off I would return the legion and get this. If you dont have the offer its kinda a push because you would pay 200 more for a graphics card that is only a 50 dollar difference.

Synthetic benchmarking doesn't represent the difference in real world environments (unless you are rendering etc). If you like the legion keep the legion and the extra money.

Hmm. Seems like decent deal. My Amex blue cash has the $120 off $599+ that expires 4/30. I wonder if deals will get better by then?

Any AMD cpu and gpu system deals?

I mentioned this to another dell buyer, if you have a chase card as well they have an offer for 5% at dell, you can use this for the remaining 800+, just use the amex for 600.00. Also look around at coupon/money back sites for another 5-10% back at dell right now. Oh AND get 10% off with the dell coupon you get for signing up as a new customer on their site. Might save your self another 300 all together if you do all that.

How does Dell build quality compare to MSI? I was waiting for a deal (Newegg) on MSI Codex.

Currently using a 12900 and 3060ti which is pretty good but struggles with MSFS and HP G2 VR but plays everything else without issue.
So not good for virtual reality is the scar 16 2024 good for virtual reality and everything else. I'm searching for a good gaming laptop

Can anyone speak to the temps on this particular setup? I had an Alienware desktop several years ago and temps were not great. Ended up having to leave a side panel off.
