I got mine yesterday and it's perfect. I gotta assume it's newer refurb since the warranty is backed by Microsoft till 11/30/24. I wish I could put one of these in every room.

Thanks, I just bought one. I will now return the Xbox Series S I bought at Target two weeks ago for $209. To me, this Series X for $309 wins over the $209 Series S even though this console unit will be a secondary console relegated to the bedroom. My primary unit is a Series X in the living room.

Yea, I got the Series S a couple of weeks ago at Target and have not opened it. This is my 2nd Series X. How bad would Series S be compared to Series X on a smaller 4k (55") tv which does not have hdmi 2.1?

Mine came defective. Will only fully power up about 1 out of every 20 tries. When it does power up running a game causes it to crash and reboot. We'll see how Woot! handles the return.
