BTW - paying extra for the controller that includes the screen (included in this deal) is well worth the money. It's annoying to be using your phone and having to attach it, maybe get a phone call, text, etc and have to use it while flying your drone. The built-in screen is super bright and great to have.
Also, this drone is amazing.

I set up the account during checkout and did not see that coupon. Wish I knew that before ordering it. 5 days shipping to the West Coast.

Better than buying it and having a ban because that band's going to happen... I'm selling my mini 3 pro between this band and the new update is software. You can't fly them anywhere without getting hammered and now you won't be able to fly him at all... Funny how radio controlled aircraft are not restricted in the way that these drones are by the FAA. What a pain in the ass and I just bought three $249 g batteries man. I'm dumping this before it gets banned....

Also, this drone is amazing.
I agree with what you are saying, especially having the app crash on your phone mid flight is mildly terrifying. The one big caveat is that if you are traveling the added weight but especially the added height of that controller make it too large to pack effeciently in my camera bag so I always opt for the smaller cheaper basic controller.
