It's technically not the best deal for this game but I don't think/know if it will ever drop down to the $30 it was 3 or so years ago for Black Friday. I've not seen it that price again since then.

Given that 2 is only coming soon to switch and this was around for a while, then no. The story starts just from fresh in 3 with a short movie so I didn't feel like losing any colors from past series. Also this is a free roaming game, while 2 is round by round system.
