resident evil 6 seriously underrated it is really good, they perfected what they were going for in 5, then changed things up in 7 which is ok with me. haven't played any remakes and I'm not sure if I should, there are other games and franchises i've never tried and there are only so many hours to play games

I feel like everyone's opinion on RE6 is either love or hate it with no in between. It's one of my least favorite RE games, hated that it turned into a faster paced arcade-y style game. Just seemed very messy and all over the place. But I also played on 360 when the game first came out, so I haven't played it post any patches/updates.
Resident Evil 3 is pure anxiety. That huge dude chases you like the entire game. The remake was good though. All the remasters have been. Still need to play the RE4 remake.
I know everyone always talks about the re4 remake, but I just finish re2 and it's SO good. Brought me right back to being freaked out as a kid when I played it for the first time. Bad voice acting and all. Highly recommend.

I loved the RE3 remake! Lots of fans don't feel the same way for their own reasons, but I thought it was super fun.
It's always really fun to speed run and to try beating the game without using any healing items haha

RE2 remake is very good. Play through a second time and have fun with Mr. X stalking you throughout the game. Brings the intensity level up considerably. Still haven't beat it the second play through.
There are no official native VR ports of the RE titles on the PC yet unfortunately. But there are unofficial mods made by PrayDog that I hear work quite well for RE7, Village, RE2R, RE3R, and supposedly an upcoming one for RE4R.
For official RE VR titles, you gotta either buy a PSVR for RE7, or PSVR2 for REVillage/RE4R or the Meta Quest version of the original RE2 (non remake).

I bought Resident Evil 7 because I thought it was a PCVR title. Looks like I need the Praydog mod also

Personally I thought that Mr X from re2 was much more menacing than nemesis. Nemesis was predictable and would appear at fixed locations in the game, whereas Mr X would literally wander the map looking for you. This was both for the original re2/re3 and the remakes.

I think that's the best price we've seen yet on the RE4 Remake. Still holding off for <$15, but we're gettin closer!
There's a gold edition coming I believe, basically Deluxe Version plus Separate Ways DLC. I haven't touched the DLC yet but my friend that I game share with on Xbox said it was a decent DLC, essentially 7 extra levels I think, with additional treasures and merchant quests.
