This is the cheapest it has been for a while. This is the cordless screwdriver to get instead of these no name brands for just a little more. Rated highly by projectfarm

Bought it and returned it after it was on sale for this price last month with a coupon. It has plenty of power but it's larger than I expected and the button position is very awkward to use in the straight position. Not saying it's bad cordless screw driver, but it wasn't ergonomic for my use.

Powerful screwdriver. The 21 clutch settings come in real handy with all that power. It easily churns through the tough screws my 4V Skil screwdriver struggled on. It feels bulky but once you start using it feels fine. The 2 included batteries charge fast and last forever. The whole set up (driver, batteries, charger) comes in a bulky plastic case. They could have shrunk that thing to half the size and could still fit everything in it. $50 is a GREAT deal

I have 3 of these and they are the best for computer repair, rc repair, and nerf. The clutch is soft enough to not strip anything. I may be tempted for a fourth just to have upstairs.

Is this the best light use screwdriver? Was looking at the newer USBC Ryobis but don't seem like anything special.

Not fully following your post - did you buy it, return it, then buy it again to get the lower price? Or did you buy it at the lower price and then return it due to the ergonomics? I'm asking because I'm considering getting this for a relative in their 70s and the need to use the thumb versus the trigger finger has me hesitant to pull the trigger (no pun intended).
