Although a high discount, this doesn't really seem like a good deal to me.

16GB soldered low speed DDR5. This is going to have issues soon.

I would love to know in what world people who think like this live. Sure, it's not the highest end 7400mhz, but saying it will have issues soon when ddr5 is basically still fresh out of the oven is just lunatic.

Just throwing out a word of caution from IMHO and experience. I have had a few Razer laptops and while they are built well in terms of the casing the internals have all had issues.
1. Battery Swelling
2. BSOD and Failing to Charge
3. Overheating
4. Bad Razer Support Service- They wanted me to pay 120$ to get some screws for the laptop that I lost after replacing the RAM. This was from Razer Customer Support. I think they are pretty awful to deal with.
5. Motherboard Issues
6. Audio Crackling with the older Intel Chipsets

Now with that being said, if you get a good product it does have a chance to last a few years. I would not call this a MacBook replacement by any means. Yes, I know that one is a gaming laptop vs. content. Just be cautious after you dump 1600$. I hope one day Razer will build a more quality product. I have always been worried about owning such an expensive device and it failing.

Hope you get a good build whoever purchases!

They mean because of the capacity, not speed. Some games already want 16GB+ on high settings.
