Thank you, very helpful comment. Recently picked up a 14" Elitebook for myself, and would like to find something comparable in 15.6-16" screen size. I see Elitebooks in that screen size pop up on SD from time to time, will be on a lookout for that.

While both are entry level business laptops I find the the Probook construction to be a bit better than Thinkpad E. The latest design gen/iteration of Probook I think is absolutely phenomenal. Yeah it's no Elitebook, but at basically 1/2 price it's still a heck of a good rig.

With the way Lenovo is headed, I won't be buying anything Thinkpad anytime soon. And now that they are soldering memory down, it's an instant no-go. We can tell HP is putting effort into capturing more and more of the business market, and they are giving people and businesses/IT depts what they have been asking for. That's a huge plus
