like a few post above me. the AV receiver will publish power output for some 1K tone mono channel and write that number on the box. do i like it? nope. i rather them list the entire spectrum, but that's how the industry is doing, and that's not just lenovo thing. EVERY consumer OLED display does this.
the 400 nit display is the brightness at 100% window. i don't know the 10% window brightness, but it is likely well above 500 nit.
take OLED TV for example, the LG C3, it is 150 nit at 100% windows, but 800 at 10% window

and do you know dolby vision was suppose to have max brightness of 10 000 nits? nothing in the market can reach that, but people still list dolby vision

It's a trash certification that means nothing. Again, protect lawsuits because "yeah will it says 500 nits but it hits that maybe a small amount of time.

The laptop is great. Been running benchmarks and battery tests galore. The display is gorgeous. And battery runtime watching 4K YouTube videos is between 7-8 hours @ 100% brightness (I ended the test at 15% battery after 6.5 hours and Windows said 1hr15min remaining).
