It stores power. That's why we call it a battery and not a generator.
You're just not very bright, but that's ok.

Why no way I knew it was brand new? newbie does not know, but "Pro" does know.

Because they sent brand new one to me, so I knew.
Long story short. They initially sent me one was defective (AC inverter malfunction), then re-sent another one with other problem. They didn't want send third refurbished one , so they let the local dealer delivered a brand new one to me...It was 100% brand new. LoL 😂
The refurbished two actually very looked very new! just had circuit issues ... battery never was problem
So you got lucky after returning it twice?

That's not a deal but a risky YMMV with lots of hassle. Not to mention, you cannot just ship batteries to any location. You have to go to a special FedEx (this is what Ecoflow uses) drop off center which is usually far.

Yes, it is correct. They sent brand new one for the third time from a local dealer rather than mailing from California. Their QA has issues to complete through testing the return one to sell again as refurbished. The power station's failure was barely caused by the battery. It is always a circuit and component issue. I returned two (refurbished) that looked very new from their appearance and manufactured date.

So, no need to worry about batteries. it can work many many years if the circuit and component lasts.
If you do one full charge it every one week, 800 full charging cycles that means 15 years of use to their 80% capacity left!
if you take a little care only charge to 80% that consumes 0.2 cycle to extend the life 5x (that is to 75 years! ).

This seems like the perfect solution to a poor man's solar/battery system for an older travel trailer. I use the trailer about 8-10 times a year and like to camp at places with no hookups, but my wife is never thrilled about that cause the microwave really speeds the cooking up for a family of seven. I really don't even think I need LiFePO4 with the minimal annual use. Any recommended solar panels (quick setup, easy to store)???

This is a common question and the cause of many arguments. I like to argue it this way. They are called generators because they can generate useable power from something not useable. Why is a Honda gas generator called a generator? Because it can take gas and turn it into useable power. Without gas it does nothing. Similarly a solar generator can capture the sunshine (via solar panels) and turn that into useable power. The bonus is the storage of that power...the battery. It is truly a generator by definition...but its hard to accept it because of pre-existing perceptions. In addition to that aspect, you can charge the battery several different ways using both AC or DC. Its quiet, safe, and can be run indoors without toxic fumes. There are so many advantages over gas generators quite frankly...its just for some reason folks are resistant to the tech.
In your example the solar panel is the generator. And the Honda is the generator. These things here STORE the power that's generated by something else. They don't generate power so calling them a generator is wrong. They are batteries, but I guess calling them what they are doesn't sound as cool so the marketing department prefers to call them what they're not.

Anyone know how long would this would run a window air conditioner that pulls about 900w in my rv?

Math is a good thing.

If your AC (900w) is continuing to run, it will run ideally for 84 minutes on a full charge. If you count its efficiency, it should run slightly more than 1 hour or so, more or less depending on your conditions.

Just got my order in. I bought 2. One arrived and still waiting on other. The one that did arrive is beat to hell. Scratch and scuff marks all over the casing.

I have 2 of these units at work. They were purchased new.

The refurbished one was placed to charge and the fans are WAY louder than those I have and use at work.

Solar panels looked used. Covered in dust and stains.

At best these can be called "refurbished/used."

Not "Refurbished/ Like New."

Definitely can tell QA was not great.

Gas generators can run indefinitely and potentially last for 30 years stored in a shed.

Battery generators can be run once, and will not be useful in 5 years.

People investing a considerable amount of their money on an emergency preparedness device using critical thinking skills will come to one conclusion, and people with money to waste or have a disposable toy consumerist mindset will come to another.

If you are without power for 3 days or 3 weeks, you can run a generator the entire time as long as you have access to fuel. A battery pack will run until its charge is used, and then hopefully there are long daylight hours of clear sky that you can (comparatively) trickle charge your "generator" to usability.

As long as it's only a couple years old.

So, when the sun is shining, the solar generator gets power from solar panels and stores the electricity to the battery. No need for other fuel.
My 400w solar panels charge my Delta 1260wh to full for less than 4 hrs.

Like who really cares it's Less than $400 with a 2 year warranty. 99% of people that buy this will NEVER EVEN REMOTELY reach 800 full cycles. It's just amusing to watch all the arguments...LOL!
Who cares? Lithium Ion applies to more than power station batteries. Phones, tablets, and laptops run on Li Ion too. It's common for people to own those devices for years and their batteries reach full cycle and die. Facts help people make informed decisions.

Could this be used as a UPS for computer equipment? Either directly or upstream from a UPS?
