People are allowed to carry food in. We bought a small backpack cooler and filled it with sandwiches, drinks, snacks for the day. We saved a ton of money!! Just can't bring alcohol, stinky food, loose ice. We used plastic ice packs. Bought our groceries at Costco Orlando and stayed in a budget Airbnb

Yay I was planning on a Disney trip last week and 4 day tickets were $2300 now it's $1600.00 after tax for 3 adults 1 child.

Disney resorts are $250+/night though so I'm staying offsite and using ride share each day.

Planning to take my kid during spring break and park tickets were $2400. Now it's down to $1600 much easier to swallow. Now I can blow the savings on lighting rides and genie+ lol.

Disney feeling the financial pinch. Talked with several staff members who are talking about insane deals, layoffs, low occupancy at resorts, high pressure for time shares, and as seen here, discounts on tickets.

Not that great of a deal, forces you to start the ticket date on a $99 day (usually mon/tues/wed) if you want the $396 deal for 4 days. Otherwise it's at least $470.

My chicken fingers and fries basket was like $11 in each park. Got it multiple times during my trip. If you don't go to the reservation/sit down places, it's likely even cheaper than most fast food nowadays. The only place we went to that felt overpriced was the bar inside the Star Wars part of Magic Kingdom. Think we spent like $10 for one non alcoholic fruit juice drink.

Prices overall at Disney are pretty overstated in my opinion. I think the shirts I bought were like $30, completely normal for a souvenir.

The big rip is Genie+ / Lightning Lane stuff. THAT is where they get you. Think we ended up paying like $40 just to ride the Seven Dwarfs roller coaster to skip the line…
