I prefer VUDU. Fandango at Home is too long.

Vudango? Fandu?

Some deals that you could use the 10% off for listed here.

It stacked w/ my $15 credit from buying $20+ of food from this deal.
Agreed, a pointless re-brand.
I used it to buy Magnum PI the complete series for $26.99 (current price is $29.99). Stacked this with buying a gift card with 15% off to make it an even better deal

They started messing this up when they removed the "kid mode" from movies.

Basically it allowed movies to become age appropriate by skipping over problematic parts, or silencing words. Yes, censorship, but thanks, I want my 5 year old to be able to watch more movies without caring about what the director thinks.

And of course it was one of the first things to go when they merged. Along with good promotions soon after.

Not to be a downer, I used to like Vudu, but I don't see them surviving for too long...

Pointless to change to the (their own) name of the company that *bought* the other company? Why would they ever want to keep using the name of the company they acquired? It seems silly to have such a strong aversion to the name change. Some putzes even started an online petition to keep its name as if they would even garner enough votes to gain any traction with them.

In two years, no one's going to care what it's called, as long as it still works as expected when it was VUDU.
They can do what they want, Elon can buy Twitter and call it "X", and you are welcome to have your opinion. I just think it is dumb to abandon a brand name that took years to build a good reputation. Now, if it is a bad brand that wants to leave it's bad reputation behind, I understand.

Agreed. Vudu was fine but were there some religious reasons to avoid the name Vudu because it sounds too much like voodoo? Netflix made sense, you got your flicks from website, gamefly made sense, they flew games to your door, Twitter made sense because people tweeted like birds and had short limit, now names don't make any sense anymore..

I would say more often than not they keep the name when it's a huge company like this. It's brand recognition and built up goodwill. It's part of what you are paying for. Amazon bought Whole Foods, it's not Amazon foods now. Same with Woot.

Naked Gun Trilogy in 4K for $11.70 after coupon. Not too shabby.
