As always when this sale comes around, check out the All-Clad Pots & Pans sticky thread for frequently asked questions about this sale and about these pans, including the difference between D3, D3 Everyday, BD5, SD5, G5, etc, and all the questions about "seconds" and this website specifically.
I started that thread because this sale comes around so frequently. Suggestions on improving it welcome.

Heres my tips that allow my eggs to slide right off the pan. For first use after a thorough cleaning, heat the pan and apply a thin coat of oil (I have used peanut oil, vegetable oil, etc. as long it's high heat oil). Then I just use as normal, apply a pat of butter and fry my eggs. Afterwards, I give the pan a good rinse under hot water while the pan is still warm and I wipe it down with a paper towel while heating it back up on the stove.
On next use, it only needs a pat of butter and eggs slide off it. Different things may cause some amount of stickiness. If I do ground beef, I put a little oil in but the key is to let the beef (and any other meats) cook and release itself from the pan before fiddling with it. Very easy to care for if you don't mind hand washing.
