Hmm, I know it's in 3M's interest to sell us a different product for every use case, but the table on the Amazon listing does show a blank (-) for this product for "Ship: Secure seal for rough handling" and for "Strong hold on all box types including recycled."

I know I sound like a madmen talking about tape. But I've tried them all, multiple rolls to make sure it wasn't a bad batch, this particular model has the worst adhesive. Its probably made for storage because you can literally rip it off cardboard and have no cardboard residue on it.

Very few product lines I genuinely think are bad and this is one of them. I don't understand why they don't just make it all heavy duty

The latest comment on this deal says this : "I'm used to products from Scotch 3M being very high-quality. This tape is very lightweight. Tears down the middle very easily, which is not a good thing. And the minute you tear off a piece automatically sticks together.
I would not make this particular purchase again."

Dont be fooled by the product model name. Considering i use mostly 3M tape for packing and shipping, this is one of the worst products made by 3M. The adhesive is tacky at best. Even most generic tapes beat the adhesion that this tape provides.

I have a strong feeling 3M will reformulate this tape or discontinue it
